BREAKING: Original Star Wars Trilogy Boba Fett Passes Away at 75

TWITTER- It seems as 2020 is relentless in the damage it does to us each day, and it strikes once again on the timeline of trending topics today. This time in the Star Wars community. Star Wars legend Jeremy Bulloch, the actor who played Boba Fett in the original 1970's trilogy that took the world by storm, has passed away at 75 years old today. According to BBC News, Bulloch finally lost his fight against Parkinson's Disease after a long amount of time. The family of Bulloch gave an announcement on his self-titled website of his passing for confirmation. This is a huge loss and shock to the TL and the Star Wars community around the world. This is the second original actor in the past two months to pass away with Darth Vader passing on the 29th of November. Here is what Luke Skywalker, better known as Mark Hamill tweeted today in response to the news:

Jeremy didn't only star in Star Wars but starred in various other films and shows but just so happened to be mostly British pop culture that studded his acting resumé. He starred in the 007 movies Octopussy in 1983, various episodes of Dr. Who, other 007 movies like "For Your Eyes Only", and even the holiday specials of Star Wars in the trilogy. His replacement actor in 2002, Daniel Logan, took on the mantle in "Episode II: Attack of The Clones". Bulloch helped teach the Mandalorian way of who and what Boba Fett stands for and later played "Captain Colton" in Episode III: Revenge of The Sith. Logan had a few words paying homage and expressing his grief of Bulloch's passing. Here is the official Star Wars page paying homage on Twitter:

Daniel wrote on a heartfelt Instagram caption saying: “It brings me to tears to announce Jeremy Bulloch has [passed] away,”. He went on talking about the heartbreak he is in since hearing the news. “RIP Legend. I’ll never forget all you’ve taught me. I’ll love you forever. Conventions won’t be the same without you. May the force be with you always.” Here is the Instagram post.

Jeremy brought one of the most feared bounty hunters and warriors in a galaxy far far away to life. He can never be replaced. It seems fitting that the Mandalorian series on Disney plus has brought Boba Fett out of the Sarlacc pit and helping the Mandalorian out on his adventure with Baby Yoda. Bulloch was quoted as someone supportive and helpful to his family and castmates alike; it seems he is doing that beyond the grave as well. Rest Well...Great Mandalorian.
